LIVE ACOUSTIC MUSIC at Yellow Wood Cafe with The Phil Langran Trio, featuring Phil Langran, Steve Benford and Alistair Bloomfield. An evening not to be missed!

This will be an intimate live acoustic music event running in the evening from 7pm to 10pm (approx) on Saturday 12th JULY 2025.

Nottingham songwriter Phil Langran’s songs are engaging, accessible and subtly poetic, interweaving elements of Celtic, American, folk and blues traditions. He is available for bookings in many marvellous ways - solo, duo, trio and with the full five-piece band.

The Trio features two supremely gifted accompanists from the band line-up - Alistair Bloomfield on fiddle and Steve Benford on acoustic guitar and banjo.

Over the past two decades Phil and Co have performed at club and festival events, and recorded a number of acclaimed albums. Phil has also released two albums produced by and featuring Boo Hewerdine and Chris Pepper - ‘Skywriting’ and ‘Falling Light’. He is currently working on a third album with Boo and Chris.

Entry will be by TICKET ONLY.

There will be a LICENCED BAR available on the night serving a small selection of craft beers, red and white wine alongside our usual range of hot and cold drinks from the cafe.

PLEASE NOTE: When buying your ticket, you will have the option to buy a light EVENING SUPPER to go with the event … this will be a fixed menu that will include a great value tasty selection of freshly made sandwiches, cheese, fruit, nibbles and a glass of wine (or alternative).
